It is amazing what we can do when we make up our minds.

Still drinking and carrying on here but nothing to excess. Still clear and don't plan on changing that . . . EVER!!

Congrats fishboy. It's great getting more time between us and treatment for sure. Fading into our memories as a challenging, awful time of our lives. But it's behind us. :-D

Thanks all! Congrats lovefall! It is truly Amazing! who would of thunk ? I also thank the Lord! Much easier with him than without. Trissa ,you are correct it is the only life for me! Way too much to lose if I went back out.

Ecc: I am not surprised!! LOL!! I keep it all fresh as I know how we made it through. Kinda crazy that it has been that long. Do you still have any "FOG" left? I still at times find myself going HUH?? May just be getting old! HA!

I never had brain fog oddly. It changed my GI tract a bit but overall okay regarding sides. A scar here or there. Nothing I can't manage though I'm happy to say.

Oh wow fishboy what a great feeling you must have!! That is a BIG accomplishment !! Woohoo go out and get a banana split or whatever you like. I will pick up the tab!!! LOL Can I just ask because I don't know all the abbreviated lingo around here. Funny I did in 2001 when I found out I had Hep C . So correct me if I am wrong but you had clearance since 2015 ? what treatment did you take for that?? Did you get all those other kinds of treatment that every one dreads from a while back and what were the treatments. Sorry for all the questions but it amazes me and I want all the details.........LOL

Congratulations FishBoy Bill! Guessing since the new drugs didn't come out until 2013, you had to go thru the old Interferon/Riba route. Man, that had to be rough!

Trixie, It was Dec 7th,2013 (Pearl Harbor Day)when I completed TX. I did do the NASTY triple TX. I was on Victrellis, Riba and the Interferon for 48 weeks.:( I was a verizon lineman at the time and was climbing telephone poles at the time.(BAD COMBO) Only missed 1 day due to being sick. It was a you won't win thing. It was an EVIL cocktail at best. That being said I would have done it all over again if I needed to!! I am having a great life now and don't want to give it up at all. I found that I like to ride bicycles as much as I like to fish! Who would have thunk! I learned a lot of things about me that I loved and hated. Made some friends that I will share a bond with forever. Some Tough Folks for sure. We were here every day and had 1 horrible thing in common. We all felt like POO!! We had fun and we were a family. All happens for a reason.
