Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I've worked out all the schedules with my doctors.
Soma is not a Benzo.; but it is classified as an Anxiolytic. It metabolizes as a Barbituate (Meprobamate) in the body, which is why getting off this one can be just as hard as getting off Benzos or Cocaine or Morphine or Methadone - all of which I've done in years past (Cocaine was in 1986). I have to face this down. No turning back. Might not even take the last dose at 1pm today. I don't see the point. I'm just REALLY gonna miss waking up every day to a nice, peaceful and tranquil feeling settling in over me that is not "natural" - rather it is drug-induced - Sigh
I so wanted to come in here today & just tell y'all about how cool Adult Coloring Books w/colored pencils is! I've been doing it for about 3 weeks now & just love it! Maybe that's what I'll do first thing tomorrow morning, instead of sitting with my cat & tossing her treats whilst I drink first tea.
So far, so okay, today. I just realized, too, that today is exactly 11 months ago from when this really bad nerve pain began in my upper left back, arm & neck. It finally got worked out about 2 weeks ago by someone who just pushed his thumb deep around into the knots that had built up inside the rhomboid muscle area, and it released in an instant! He'd studied to become a Chiro, so I trusted him with it. Anyway, long story short, I feel the whole Universe Healing every little thing on Earth today, and from this day forward. I am doing what I can to add to this Healing to become a part of the bigger whole that is transpiring to Love us all back to Good Health and Good Life.
I sent you a message, but we all have "things" we still have to work through - which I finally realized that curing the Hep C, still would be there.
I am so happy that you don't have any fatty liver or other liver damage. I prayed for that and still wonder "I didn't drink for 25 plus years, what gives"..
Don't beat yourself up re the meds and getting off of them. It is not easy......Age makes things harder too as I am realizing.
I must also realize I am not that young anymore....Hard to own up to that.
I do believe in prayer and for sure the power of it. I have heard of Somo in the past, actually I probably tried it with one of my doc's.
I wish you well. I know you will be SVR - the stress of waiting is never easy and those tests aren't run daily. My place does them once a week...
Most of us have a person or time in our life that we have "anger" still pent up inside. Just realized I really do....
The new pain doc I go to since moving to So OR recently explained about the opening of Opiate Pathways, and once they're opened by means of the introduction of an Opiate, it sets the body up to think it's in pain because of the signals that get intercepted when the Opiate is wearing off. So what is perceived as a pain signal, is actually the mind realizing the Opiate is gone after it's peaked & wearing off. But I like the way your described it from a less physically-clinical standpoint. Makes perfect sense to me, as a former Facilitator of Transformational Breathwork & The Work of Byron Katie (dating back to 2004-2008).
Thank you.
