Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
But I know for myself i will never be able to separate what my bad memory is from: the drugs i used to do, the mild chemo i've been on for years, or ageing...most likely all 3.
The other thing that affects forgetfulness is multi-tasking. But ageing is a major factor.
right now my brain went on break somewhere - it is hard.
I just turned 60, and hubby who is 65 has better brain function
than me.
BUt then again, I do all the stressors at home, financials, etc.
Maybe we should change this??
The Interfeuron does have lingering long term effects - that is MY opinion - and there is the age factor too!!!
