Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I just don't know...but I hate feeling tired all the time!!!!
and i'm virus free. so it's not the virus. maybe it was treatment?
I've spent the day today with terrible inflammation in my left leg. It's along the outside of my thigh, on the fascia latta and going up into the glutes. My left shoulder blade was on fire next to the spine and it hurt to raise a mug of tea. And the bottom of my shin bone for several inches above the ankle was on fire.
I got several sudden stabbing pains in my ankle and foot. It was a hard day. But it's clearing up now. Maybe the Wobenzyme N worked its magic. I took 6 of them. About 2-3 hours ago.
I think the fatigue is caused by the stress the virus puts on the body and the things we eat, drink and do. And in Quasar's case, by the stress the drugs put on the body. Recovery is a long process. Here is a little help.

Basically any diet that includes juicing will help. I'd also recommend doing some coffee enemas to help get rid of the toxic build-up in the liver, and also a monthly liver flush. Eat organic as much as possible and forget about package prepared refined foods, they are so full of additives. Cut way back or eliminate animal products, meat, eggs, cheese and dairy. Organic butter is ok in small amounts.
This inflammation was brought on, I believe, by "natural flavors" in some tea a friend gave me and I didn't want to be rude, so I drank it. About half way through, my tummy started hurting and I threw the rest of the tea down the sink. I felt sick for a couple hours.
Truth is, everything you eat, drink and put on your skin and breathe or bath in, if it has things in it that aren't really natural, your liver has to process them. In the last 5 years, my diet has become about 99% garden produce. Veggies, fruits, whole nuts & seeds, whole grains. I don't even care for canned organic tomatoes anymore, they were the last canned food on my list.
It took me a year to stop eating dairy, I loved my yogurt! I do fine without it now. I make my own soymilk and occasionally tofu. I have not had a cold or flu in the last few years, so I am doing something right. :-)
I hear ya, I went totally vegan last summer, in fact organic &felt like I didn't even have the big C anymore &discovered a cure.
Then I got stresses, slipped slowly, got lazy, and now I'm back eating a little bit of crap again & I feel it like a ton if bricks hit my system.
Thanks for your reminder to rededicate myself to my organic vegan diet that contributed to making me feel like a healthy human.
Sorry for typos my iPad won't cooperate
