Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I also kept all my lab reports and paperwork in a file and brought it with me to every appointment just in case I needed it.
You mentioned in another post that you already have a list of meds you are taking, which is good.
Just make sure you understand what treatment the doctor is proposing, and what your obligations are to get it approved by your insurance company. Your doctor should be your advocate and push for approval for you.
No one is born knowing all of this, and my GI even made a mistake and would not believe me when I told him he was wrong. So don't be afraid to ask questions on here, or with your doctor. Remember, this is your body, and your treatment.
