Hello all i don't post much here anymore a few of you guys might remember me from a few years ago. I Guess third time's a charm. After relapsing twice, 24 inf shots, 840 ribb, 420 sovl pills. 12 weeks blood work showed up in an email results not detected. They told me 6 years ago when i started this journey that geno 2B was the easiest to treat. If this was easy i would hate too see hard lol. Peace to all

I too am a relapser from inf + riba. Just finished 24 weeks of vikera + riba 12 weeks ago. Just had labs done today.
I am praying this ugly virus is gone out of my body and everyone of you folks. So nice to hear good news from you.
Keep fighting the good fight even the relapsers, I read of even better cures on the horizon.

I agree with you 100% - the road weary should be on 24 weeks.
Still waiting for my 3rd tx, will not agree to less than 24.

when I was at my first appt to plan to do this, ( I never did any of the older tx, as my doctors and I all agreed I was not going to be ok if I did.....as I have life long depression and suicidal hx)
anyway I said to my Doc on that first meeting , how I heard my genotype was the best , plus my being Caucasian (that is what I was told by docs in the past )
but he laughed and said well, actually , it used to be the easiest and being white used to also make it easier BUT not now with the new tx
but he explained why and it went over my head or I don't remember.
I did clear it so far, btw.
but i still have to wait for the post tx /six month check.
