Week 7 here of same drugs and doing fine.
I want others to know that for many of us S & O is a breeze and can easily be done alone.... especially compared to other txs!
I think the majority of people on S&O don't have many side effects of much significance. Me - those headaches took me to my knees. But again, 12 weeks of tx and that was really it for sides. I had been facing 48 weeks of TRIPLE until this miracle tx came along. S&O probably caused some of the serious fatigue I had - but - I think 1a's are a bit harder to "treat" - so our bodies and immune systems are fighting super hard to complement the S&O in the battle to get rid of this virus. Just a guess. I think that's why my platelets have gone up and down - still are. EOT platelet count was 167 - not too happy but nurse says not to worry. (Right - lol)
I am STILL WAITING for EOT VL results, btw. It will be two weeks tomorrow since they were done - I'm sure they are done now - but of course, it's a holiday. Labcorp Beacon isn't working for me anymore, WG - but best I wait and hear from the nurse. I would not want to see less that stellar results without being able to call her asap about it. I don't expect that - EOT I was full to the brim of the miracle drugs, but still...
DRTJC - almost there - you'll be done in no time.
You and I were SO LUCKY to get this tx - NO RIBA!
This combo is a kinder, gentler, shorter and more effective treatment but some folks could still have a rough time on it.
These drugs are all so new and so much is still not known.
I was on my hands and knees "LITERALLY" on IFN and Riba while others managed to function.
Your suggestions are good ones, & you are undie!
I take it one day at a time.
