Wow, and you are so young. First of all, do you know your Geno type or the state of your liver? Do you have a liver doctor? Have you and your doc talked about beginning tx?

Once you gain more knowledge, your anxiety will lesson. You will get a wealth of knowledge here. Welcome!

You need a liver doctor first. Which is a Hepatologist. Or, a good Gastro doctor. But I prefer a Hep doctor since they specialize in the liver. They will run you through a variety of tests and procedures to find out at what stage you are in and your geno type, etc. Then they will recommend whether or not to start a treatment regime and will either prescribe it for you or start you on a clinical trial.

Hey, yea it sucks being young with this disease, but it'll help you in clearing it too. Have you seen a liver doc or G.I.? Do you know your genotype?

You will be fine!!! Thank God you didnt wait nearly 2 years like I did ...I finally started my tx about 5 weeks ago....NO FUN but you are young and couldnt of had if very long. Take care and what ever you do dont just sit aorund dwelling on that only makes it worse you get more and more depressed. You know what your to do now set yor face like flint an be positive, no there isnt one thing fun about being sick but I tell ya what the better additute you got the better you will be ...My attitude iis kept under contol by my faith it keeps me going ....Hope you do well >>>>> water...water...water. Stay away from negative people !!!!
