As some of you know I'm taking Lyrica for Neuropathy in my feet which started the same time as my liver numbers went up. I think it's hep c related. What I want to say here is that since I have been taking Lyrica for the pain in my feet my I.Q. tested to be 66. It used to be 120. I layout integrated circuits for a living. I wonder how long it will be until my supervisor figures it out. He may already have. Layoffs are coming at the end of the month so I will maybe find out. Lots of good luck to all of you going through treatment.

I'm sorry; that's awful! Is there nothing you can take instead of Lyrica? Are you retirement age?

No, nothing but narcotics. I even had to lower my dose because it was making me hallucinate.
Yes I am almost retirement age. I'm 63. I can probably work contract.

wes i developed neuropathy during tx. been off tx for a year and it's just now starting to fade. also relasped i wont do inefueron again for this reason. peace

Mine came right when my liver numbers went up, before I started tx, so I think it is hep c related. And I think it's because it is in my neurological system somewhere. When I was still weak after tx, about two years later, I started getting pain in different parts of my body and each pain was mirrored on the other side. I'm no expert, but, it seems brain related to me. A Neuro doc wanted to MRI my brain, but I canceled the appt. because I can't breathe very well on my back.
It doesn't matter anyway because there is nothing they can do about it.

Sorry to hear this about the Lyrica Wes - what a proverbial pain in the A** - can you alternate between narcotics for a while and then the Lyrica for a period. As long as you wean off the narcotics everything should be fine.
