Did you discuss this with your Doctors? I once had the Ultrasound specialist told me a story. I will tell you the same thing what he told me. The story goes like this: There was a blind man and a elephant. Another person direct the blind man to touch the tail of the elephant and ask what does it feel like. The blind man say it feel like a strong rope. Then they ask the blind man to touch the body of the elephant, what does it feel like. The blind man respond was, it feel like a brick wall. Last thing they ask the blind man to touch the nose of the elephant, his respond was it felt like a hose.

What the specialist was trying to tell me was this story is what they can only see the imagine through the ultrasound from the outside. What he was stating is that everything from look, touch and smell from the outside can look ok. But what you need is to go inside to find out the real reason of this. That you would need a biopsy to find out how your liver is.

I hope that make sense and that your result you would need to discuss with your doctors or need to go to the next step with a liver biopsy.

I had a biopsy two years ago and found out that I had stage 1 fibrosis. I do my ultrasound every 6 months and this one is different than all the other's. The doc recommended MRI which I am going to do it. Also recomended Viread antiviral for my hep b .

Have you been on any treatment since you had your biopsy two years ago. Also do you have Health Insurance, I know the cost of the MRI isn't cheap. I believe you will be good once you start taking the medication. It will be a slow process, but you will be ok.

I believe you will be ok once you go on treatment. You just need to stay positive and you can live a normal life style. Yes, you still have the virus like the rest of us. But you will be able to live a longer life. Just do your daily normal thing and let the Doctor take care of everything.
