Well Irony ,I today also received my latest results ,I should be jumping for joy because its my last phelb. after 23 or 24 in a 7 month time frame ,doc says i have to go a month now to figure out the maintance ( I was going every ten days in the last few months ) ,I too ask my doctor why do I feel like I am going downhill and have questioned my excess belly bloating in the past few weeks and the extreme fatgue so now she agrees I should not be so fatigue so she has ordered an upper GI and tossed in the colonoscopy since I was almost due for one anyway ,she feels maybe there is something else that could have been missed ,I only had a liver ultrasound for the hemochromatosis but we will wait for the GI results then possibly a liver biopsy since cancer runs so high in my family ,my mother recently passed away with a very rare cancer in the abdominal cavity called lyposarconia and colon cancer runs heavy on my dads side . I am also so tired of being tired ,my brain is going a mile a minute but my body wont go ,what once took me a day to complete now takes more than a week sometimes longer . Hope my doc can help us so we can join in on the de-ironed celebrations we are missing out on . Queenie

Queenie, hang in there. I know you are tired of being tired and sick of being sick, but you doc is going to get to the bottom of this.

I forgot that we crazy Canucks measure hemoglobin differently than the US. US measurements are grams per deciliter whereas we measure grams per liter so divide my reading by 10 to convert. 129 g/l = 12.9 g/dl.
My iron is 5 (which means that I am anemic), and may account for my being tired so I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
