Hemochromatosis Support Group
Hemochromatosis is a hereditary disease characterized by improper processing by the body of dietary iron which causes iron to accumulate in a number of body tissues, eventually causing organ dysfunction. It is the main iron overload disorder. Hemochromatosis is notorious for having symptoms that are often initially misattributed to other diseases.
Not sure if I posted this before but has anyone had the experience that your comuter goes wacky when your iron level is high?
Before I was diagnosed in 1998, my work computer would go wacky. Back in 1993, I was doing data entry but for some reason the data did not show up on the data base when I would do the data entries. If another person did the entries, there would be no problems.
This continued until I began phlebbing. So it became a joke at work that when my work computer acted wacky, it was time for me to get phlebbed.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... is that a coincedence OR NOT? I've also started buying watches at Walmart because I was going thru at LEAST one p/yr. Frustrating and expensive.
Oh, and the airport. hahahaha. I am always getting pulled aside! The last time, had to go thru the x-ray 2x's and I even got my hands & fingers swiped!

I have to say I've never set off the airport security. Unreal.
Actually my hubby gets pulled out and he doesn't have an iron problem. Maybe it's really me but security hasn't figured that out yet?LOL
and yes, U might be the reason ur husband triggers the airport security. lol
