Hemochromatosis is a hereditary disease characterized by improper processing by the body of dietary iron which causes iron to accumulate in a number of body tissues, eventually causing organ dysfunction. It is the main iron overload disorder. Hemochromatosis is notorious for having symptoms that are often initially misattributed to other diseases.
There are so many things that cause fatigue. B12 should help but if you are that low you may need to build up.
Also, stress. Being in college and worrying about grades and dropping classes is extremely stressful. Talk with your doctor and see if she thinks you may be depressed. Depression like everything else affects everyone differently, but fatigue is the common symptom. And of course, constantly not feeling well makes a person depressed.
When my Ferritin gets to 50, I am starting Chemo. Anti depressants are a must, I plan to ask the doc if I can start them now, may be part of the reason I stay in bed all the time and my house looks like doodoo.

I'm starting to wonder if my fatigue is due to something else and not just the HH. It's actually gotten worse since I've started treatment.
