Hemochromatosis is a hereditary disease characterized by improper processing by the body of dietary iron which causes iron to accumulate in a number of body tissues, eventually causing organ dysfunction. It is the main iron overload disorder. Hemochromatosis is notorious for having symptoms that are often initially misattributed to other diseases.
If you have no damage to your liver I cannot see any reason why you shouldnt have a few glasses of wine at the wedding. All things in moderation . Enjoy your day.

have one for me will ya?? i do have liver issues and have been without for 10 months. my liver is getting better, thankfully .
my dr. said it was ok to have the occasional drink and eat red meat on a limited basis, so i have 1 beer a week and 1 steak a month.
we don't have to completely cut ourselves off of everything that has iron, just eat it in moderation your going to have to phelb even if you don't eat alot of foods with iron your body is going to take every piece of iron it can get and store it anyways so why not indulge once in awhile. You have to be happy and live too.
