helping with the housework Community Group

this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

going out with my dad

today I am going out with my dad and my brother is comming up from out of towen ...I am realy looking forward to seeing him ..I haven't seen him in a while ....we always got a long realy well ...he is bring his family ...so I can't weaight to see them all and we are taking..our dad out to lunch .....so I am looking forward to seeing my dad ...I usualy see him once a weak ..but mised my day with him ...because he had a doctors apointment and my son took him and they spent the day together ...and that was realy nice for the two of them .....I love to see that .....so what are your plans for today ...

well I had two lessons scheduled today but the weather is bad and we are expecting more freezing rain today...so ice means no lessons....they both canceled....I have gone out to get the Norco from pharmacy that I refilled from doctors visit Thursday....so that is good because I torked my knee last night slipping on icy steps out front door and knee went under me as I fell and know is swollen and sore....so the pain meds being filled is good.....I went to mom's and got the turkey roasting pan too...I am going to cook a 14lb bird either today or tomorrow depending on if it has completely thawed today....if not then probably tomorrow...or I guess I could thaw it in water in sink today if I really want to get it done....but that is my plans....just staying inside with ice on ground again today...fortunately it went up to about 38 this morning and thawed the thin layer of ice from yesterdays freezing drizzle....that meant I could get out to get meds and my turkey pan from Mom....but it does mean that I had two students cancel this morning....

Hi. That's so nice you spend regular time with him! So many take their families for granted. I can tell you don;t.
I had Christmas party yesterday (which was also my birthday) and today, just taking it easy, watching movies and took dogs for walk. Wish I could say I got dishes and laundry done, or declutter, but not today.
