this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

Getting Stuff Done

I have been gathering clothes for a church that my brother donates to.  I am cleaning off my very messy coffee table.  I have a great Fall decoration to put on it.  I just bought a can of Pledge with a deal at Dollar General.  I like cleaning once I get into it.  It's almost 2:00.  I have about 2.5 hours before I have to get ready to go out to dinner.  I've done a few little things like mail a reimbursement paper to my cousin to sign and return, stuff for class reunion, dishes, ordered new earbuds as my right earbud died and it's annoying.  I checked into my 2026 Medicare Advantage plan and I am thinking that I should shop around for a better deal.  It is going up $25 per month, my OTC amount is $5 less and for a specialist, it will go up by $20.  I get $100 less for glasses.  It can't hurt to do some research.  Any thoughts?

you sound like you have Aetna which did same stuff to my plan...I bailed out of them and went to a Humana plan...

I had the earbud die too on my airpods....I had them tested at Apple and they said both were failing....so I found another like them at a good price on Walmart.com and they were cheaper than what I had paid for first pair but they were no longer being sold by Apple...

I have not dusted here in a long time now....I have so much space with so many knick nacks it is not easy to do....

what year reunion? Ours in 2026 is 50th....hugs bill

Hey bill! I don't have Aetna. We went to an Italian restaurant that I worked at in the 90s. The brothers that owned it have passed away and their wives are doing a great job at keeping the restaurant going. Unfortunately, they didn't get our online reservation. They were packed. We went to wait by the bar and then my brother and I decided to go to another restaurant nearby. It was a good decision. I had stuffed shells. The restaurant is very pretty. I had planned on having a calzone but that wasn't in the plan. I graduated the same year as you - the bi-centennial! Our reunion is in August and we are expecting that we will have a lot of attendees. My coffee table is nice and clean and my Fall ornament is really nice. I got it at a yard sale for $5.
