My daughter Elly was born 2 weeks to the day after Mum died. Mum and I were so close, she was so excited for me to be having a daughter, and we never imagined in our worst nightmares that she wouldn't be alive to meet her...
Now Elly is 14 months old, and yesterday morning she stopped at the study door staring in at the bookshelves in the back corner where I have all of Mums things piled up, all her photo albums, paperwork etc. She stopped and bent her head around and stood there smiling and waving for a good minute. Since she started waving she has only ever waved at people she knows really well. I was astonished! There was no one in the room. I was watching her from the bathroom. She has never done this. Last week was a hell of a week and I had asked Mum to be around if she could be....
Elly has always reacted with great smiles and excitement to photos of Mum, like she has always known her. The night before Elly was my born Dad had a dream that he saw Mum sleeping in her bed, holding a baby. I feel they are connected, I hope so x

I like to think that they met each other in passing and maybe was able to spend (their) time getting to know each other. She is 3 and has a lot of his mannerisms and like the same things he did. She also has his name for her middle name, wich was a comfort to me.I wrote a diss. topic that is very simaler to yours... G-
