WOW!. I know I'm new here and this thread is a couple of years old, but, DAM, most of what you guys are calling metal, AINT!. First Smooth up in Ya was by the Bullet Boys, and they were far from Metal. They were Glam Rock. Heart, Even though they were from the 70's originally were more metal in teh 70's than they were int eh 80's. Looking Glass was a 70's band and not even close to metal. Men at work was a g@y mod Euro-trash pop band from Australia. Tibuk 3, again another lam pop band, NOT METAL.
Touch of Grey Grateful Dead, SERIOUSLY. 1. NOT METAL. 2. These guys have had 30 years of hits before this tune 3. ARE YOU ON CRACK?
The only band on here that has been mentioned that is actually metal is Quiet Riot, and sorry lisa, wrong again, Quiet riot had produce 2 album before Metal Health and though they had small success in radio play their biggest hit which receive considerable radio play was Slick Black Cadillac. In 83 Metal Health was released and had 3 hit single off of that album. Metal Health (Bang Your Head), Cum on Feel the Noize, Let's Get Crazy. Granted since the release of Metal Health no other single has come close to topping the charts, but they are far from a one hit wonder. I realize that I'm probably gonna piss everyone off with this but I find it hard listening to people babble on about things they really don't know about.
allthou they where big that was the only hit they have
