The weekend is here. I enjoy watching movies or series with my husband. I have only been able to make it through a whole movie or show in the last week or two because of my PTSD symptoms (lack of concentration and focus). Now that I am regaining some control, I am looking forward to watching a few movies and shows, and maybe even a little popcorn.
What are you watching? What are your favorite types of movies and shows? Do you have anything in mind for the weekend?
Right now me and my son are rewatching Game Of Thrones, we watch 2 episodes everyday together.
On my own I watch a lot of different things
I just finished the first season of Virgin River on Netflix
I also like to watch old reruns of MASH, Friends and love the old shows
In Plain Site and Crossing Jorden and Criminal Minds
I wonder if we will get any new shows in the fall, I donlt think they were able to shoot anything, :-( MIghtnhave to stick to old shows and Netflix fir a while
@Secouya what types of shows or movies do you like?
I normally like horror movies, like haunted houses, crime stories or thrillers. I like shows like 911.
I haven’t really watched much tv in the last 10 months. I had to start watching some news because I didn’t know about power outages in my area and now COVID. I have had problems with focus and concentration, also noise sensitivity so the tv and radio bother me. In the last few weeks, I think due to medication changes I am now feeling more grounded and am able to focus more. Last week I was able to watch a full movie.
Honestly I havent been watching too much tv lately. I did watch the old 1995 movie 12 Monkeys yesterday, which was entertaining, in a messed up kind of way. The movie is about a plague wiping out human kind, and the remaining humans keeps sending people back in time to try and stop it. It probably wasn't the best thing to watch right now, but it kept me entertained for a bit. I've been watching a lot of bob ross on youtube recently. He is really calming and pleasant. And I've also been watching a lot of cooking shows. But I usually stick to youtube. I have a tendency to get burned out on tv shows really easily. Just the fact that there is never a real sense of resolution or ending can get exhausting. Like I was watching "The originals," and it just got to a point where I stopped watching it because I was mentally exhausted and craved some sense of finality and conflict resolution. But YouTube keeps me pretty entertained. Hope you get a chance to watch some great flixs this week!
