well need to get this of my chest as im sure it worrying to anyone to find out that they have something wrong with there body, just received a letter from the cardiac dept what states that my 1st MRI Scan of my heart showed a bi-atrial and right ventricular enlargement , ther eis also turbulent flow in the inferior part of the intra atrial septum which is suspicious of an atrial septal defect, I have just phoned the cardiac dept who states that they are awaiting the results of a mri scan i had last week to confirm the A S D and maybe surgery will be required, so not sure whats going to happen but i guess its better to know than not know,, and i am lucky to live in an area what is considered to be excelent for there cardiac centre,

and yes, it is better to know than not know..it doesnt make it easier, just gives you the option for further self knowledge..let us know the next steps...and know that we are all pulling for ya!!!!
