Heart failure is a condition that can result from any structural or functional cardiac disorder that impairs the ability of the heart to fill with or pump a sufficient amount of blood throughout the body. It is often undiagnosed due to a lack of a universally agreed definition and difficulties in diagnosis, particularly when the condition is considered "mild."
I drove myself to the emergency room after a week of fatigue and extreme shortness of breath.
I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, cause unknown.
I stayed in the hospital for 8 days before getting out--they would have kept me longer but I wanted to go.
I'm on meds, but they can't get my blood pressure up so far--high is 90 over whatever, usually 82 over 62. Anyone else have this problem?
Anyway, so I am new to this and wondering what you have gone thru. Am curious how long you stayed in the hospital, if you had a defibrillator or pacemaker implanted, if you suffered any subsequent episodes or cardiac arresst, if you had blood pressure issues, and if any supplements helped.
