Yeah; And I am glad I was not on the receiving end!! LOL! Really; I seem to get angered easier and have much less patience than before my STEMI. Some days are better than others. This is when it's nice to be single!!

Yep Pieere,I bet it is nice at times to be sigle but I am not an agressive person but it came out of nowhere and it scared me.Maybe just being exhausted has pushed my emotions to the breaking point.

I also agree; I find myself having little to no patience these days. As well as having no guilt in saying "NO" to people that would have received a green light in the past. I'm thinking my mindset has altered to no longer accepting of the usual BS.

As if frickin heart disease isn't enough to deal with we also have to cope with emotional changes that we have little control over. I find since my episodes that I'm especially intollerant of those do gooders who insist "God" wouldn't give you more than you can handle...then how exactly do they explain the vast number of suicides?

Guess my anger started to show, didn't it. Not the best day.I would suggest that this is a symptom and you really should get professional counseling before permanent damage is done.

When your health is continuously negatively affected and your life is unnecessarily made more difficult by the very people who are supposed to be helping you out, it's going to eventually make you feel very, very angry. It's extremely disappointing to feel let down by the ones you love but then you wonder if you're expecting too much from them & WHAT IF YOU ARE? Oh, the guilt! Disappointment is now in yourself, you ask less, they do less, you make allowances for their inability to understand, yet......yet, it seems like they are being less and less helpful, less and less understanding, & expect more and more from you. In fact, it seems like they aren't even TRYING to understand anymore & act like I'm magically all better. Is the effort to notice that I obviously haven't too much work? Is MY struggle too much work for YOU? Hello?! Are you even listening to me?!

Most Drs. and Cardiologists all claim that we will return to the same health we had before the HA's or injuries. It is BULL; the only thing we can do is try to be as upbeat and positive of the health we do have. We could have not survived!!!
I have to remember that I have two great daughters that have 10 Grands that I enjoy seeing every so often ! LOL!
When in pain or fear we tend to lash out at others and often they don't understand how badly we feel.
I sure hope you the best; The spouse; partner needs to let you talk about your feelings and be open-minded. That's why I'm single now!
