Depression

I am feeling like hell this week.I am exhausted and whipped out If I do one thing extra.I eat and feel I can not get my breath.I saw my pulmonary and he says it is my heart I saw my cardio and he says it is my lungs.I am wondering if maybe depression has raised its ugly head.I want to sleep because and am exhausted by simple things.I am going to see my general doctor today and ask him what he thinks.I am really tried of this and even fell asleep during the mini-series I have been waiting for all month.Oh well thanks for the vent,I am still looking forward to seeing the new baby in the family but getting scared of the trip.

What drugs are you on? Are you observing a 1,500 mg./day sodium diet? What is your ejection fraction?

lasix,aldactone,lisinopril,calan,asa,lantus insulin,metroprolol,vitamin b-12,vitamine e,vitamine d.I think that is all.Staying on my fluid restiction and sodium restriction.JUst exhausted and my EF is 50.I have another echo at the end of the month.

It sounds like you'd better see a doctor before the end of the month! You're certainly taking enough stuff and doing all the right things. Unfortunately, it's not just about ejection fraction. Mine was at 17 when I was first diagnosed in March 2011 and by March 2012 it was at 50. I still tire more easily than I would like, but I'm nowhere near as bad off as you seem to be.

I also got a bad week..,mainly due to sudden increase in temperature.

Be sure that you are properly hidrated.

Check with your dr. the convenience of staying in calan. It is a calcium channel blocker and I think can give you probkems while in CHF.

I am lots better this week maybe just needed some fine tuning on my meds.Oh well I am back up for the fight so here I go again.I am on calan for my pulmonary hypertension so do not want to change that med.
