Heart Attack Support Group
Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.
rehab where you workout at the hospital wearing a monitor. One of the
hadest things about recovery is mental..learning that you are not an invalid and you can still do things. Also being overly sensitive to any chest
disomfort. I tell people Ive had 1 real heart attack and about 6 fake ones. I went through about 2 years of panic everytime I had strange
feelings in my chest. Turned out to be everything from esphogeal spasms to chostochondrits to GERD.The heart heals to whatever degree to going to in about three weeks..the head takes much longer.

The suggestion I offer to family is to understand that the victim is in a state of emotional shock, suddently confronting their mortality, feeling absolutely worthless, and will generally be a wet blanket. Your support is invaluable, but don't expect it to have quick, dramatic results.
Like most have said; learning to gain a feeling of being worthwhile is difficult. Staying away from being depressed is the toughest. Been quite fortunate with that; since i try to stay motivated, with the forums and walking.
