Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.
First, Anytime you are in doubt, call 911 and summon help. That's what they're paid for and without patients what would the point of going to that expensive medical school be? So give them some business.
Sounds like you know what a heart attack feels like for you so use that to advantage. Should you feel one, call for help. Think about this, if you husband were home and you had a heart attack the smart thing would be to call an ambulance. They can treat you on the way to the ER. So either way you should be going via ambulance and your husbands presence isn't quite so important.
Frankly, my wife's driving is more likely to kill me than a heart attack so that's what I'd do.
I've had many heart attacks and still around annoying family and doctors. I decided long ago the only one I'm going to worry about is the last one I have.
