Heart Attack Support Group
Heart attack is a serious, sudden heart condition usually characterized by varying degrees of chest pain or discomfort, weakness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and arrhythmias, sometimes causing loss of consciousness. It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted, causing death and scarring of the local heart tissue.
Irregular heart beats occur in everyone, but you need to find out what type they are. Many are benign and won't cause any harm. Some can be a real problem so get it checked. sometimes beta blockers can have an impact on this problem but also what you eat or drink can be triggers. For example caffeine and alcohol are triggers for many people.
As you've surmised stress and anxiety are also issues that can result in irregular heart beats. I know when I see my in-laws my heart goes crazy, although that may be because they are deceased.
As far as physical exercise, that is one of the best things for heart patients, especially walking. Again, get it checked out and once you know what type heart beats you are experiencing we can give you some more specific information.
Good luck and let us know.
