What are some the signs to look for before someone has a heart attack? My father just died of massive heart attack and may be there were signs that I have over looked. If I have please list them for me or provide sites where I could find the information.
I had a heart attack, May 21, 2011, and had a stent implant. My RCA was 100% blocked. The stent closed (no heart attack this time but was close to it happening again) and I had 2 stents implanted on Sept. 15, 2011 to re-open the stent that closed. I will not be able to have anymore stents. If anything happens to either one or both, bypass will have to be done because I have four other blockages that we're watching.
I didn't know I was headed towards a heart attack. I got dizzy and tired a lot, but I just thought I was pushing myself too much with my exercising and yard work. The day of my heart attack was the day of my granddaughter's 4 birthday party. My doctor said I was knocking on "the other door" and it was a miracle I was talking to him.
