ok I have this problem. And Im becoming more and more aware that a great many of us have it too.
why can we not accept compliments?
I know I enjoy hearing them, but often question the givers sanity. Is it because we have had mistakes in our lives regarding relationships, are we to calous to trust anothers opinion of us?
Myself, I've always felt if you miss the first pitch, swing away on the second, if its a whiff be ready on the third and if you miss that one at least go down*no pun* swinging. So I've struck out in the relationship ballgame but in the friends free for all I am a winner. so why the hell do I sometimes scrutinize the hearfelt compliments bestowed upon me. There are more of us that have this, anyone want to share their thoughts.
BTW always accepting and believing sexual performance compliments, not that any of you know LMAO but you can make up rumors hehe

I hear ya. Whenever I get a compliment, I usually wonder if they are really talking to me. :-)
