Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
When I'm attracted to a person, there's not much he can do or say that doesn't turn me on. Something as simple as him walking in the room can be a huge sexual turn on to me if I'm attracted to him.
If I'm not attracted to the person, there's nothing he can do or say that will turn me on.
As for what my partner says and/or does that turns me on, way too many things to list.
Seeing a naked man
Thinking about a naked man
Being naked

I think this quote I have under one of my pics on my photo page sums it up quite nicely. "I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naive or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman." -- Anais Nin
With all that said, being in a relationship with the type of man I need in order to be in a relationship with him, just about everything about him, what he says, what he does is a turn on to me from the simplest thing like walking into the room or sitting on the sofa together watching a movie, a passionate kiss, watching him undress, calling me "his slut", watching him cook dinner, to something sexually extreme that will send me into subspace.
I've been very fortunate that I found the type of man that does it for me twice in my life. My partner/Dom that I am with now and have been with for the past 8 years and my former husband/Dom who I was with for 27 years.
Physically speaking, it depends much more on his personality than on his looks. If his personality doesn't turn me on, his looks won't do a damn thing for me but I will say, decent shape (no 6 pack abs kind of guy though), gray hair is a plus and a beard/mustache is a huge plus.
I can be pretty dominating, but I recognize in the world of sex, I lack experience some possess, so I'm willing to relax, submit and let a more experienced woman take over the reins and dominate the shit out of me, as long as she lets me aggressively man-handle her sometimes too.
As I said before, being a dominant has nothing to do with looks, height or any of that. I would certainly find a short, bald, heavy man to be dominant "if" he was a dominant. I know Doms and subs of all ages, heights, weight within the bdsm community.
I know Dom/Dom couples and I know sub/sub couples within the community and it works out well for them. There are Doms that enjoy bottoming but that doesn't make that Dom a sub the same as a sub who enjoys topping doesn't make that person a Dom.
There are times I top but I'm not a Dom, there are times my partner bottoms but he's not a sub.
Anyway, for me what turns me on is about what happens within the whole relationship, not just what goes on sexually, it's the whole package, it's who he is in and out of the bedroom. We're not just a bedroom D/s couple, we're a 24/7 D/s couple. We don't role play Dom and sub (nothing wrong with folks who do role play) but for us, it's who we are, how we're wired, how we've always been and what we each need in a partner to be happy and content within a relationship.
I don't really need any help being my true self, but it would be nice, flattering and empowering to have a little "encouragement" to be the man I am from a woman. Then I'd feel as though I'm living to my full potential. And I don't want to usurp any of HER personal power either, but rather compliment it, with my inner demon making her feel like the sexiest vixen on the planet whilst also being very warm and loving.
Other ladies: Are those Irish bagpipes I hear playing?
