Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.

For me the worst was the state after you realize where you are, and stop fighting to make work what can't ever possibly work, and you want to leave, but you're not able to leave, just because of different circumstances, small children, no place to go, no job... And at the same time I was having a long distance love relationship, with the person I used to know and be in love with before marriage... And all this going on for 2 years...
But slowly things straighten up... you grow up realizing different things in life, maybe become a little wiser...
Maybe all I'm writing doesn't help, sorry...
Anyway, just wanted to support...
I love my husband deeply, and I'm determined not to fail at another relationship...but...the truth is that it gets harder and harder as each day goes by...
I still have desires for my husband...but they haven't been satisfied in well over a year...I miss that very much...but I also miss my best friend, the person I could talk to about anything...the person who could encourage me...and had faith in my ability when I didn't have that faith in myself...I now have that faith in myself...but sometimes it gets overwhelming and he's not there to support and encourage me...he doesn't do anything with me...and doesn't even try...I don't even remember the last time he told me I Love You...I don't remember the last time he kissed me...we don't talk unless it's to argue or something really serious is going on in his life (like his brother recently passed away - of course we discussed that, but only if I asked him or brought it up) ...the day I posted this, I practically BEGGED him to walk down to the corner store with me to get a Coke, and he just flat out refused because he had just started to play his game...that's all he does...watch TV, watch movies, and play his games...GOD!...I neglected every aspect of my life when we first started dating...and we built what i thought was a good relationship...but now, there is nothing there...i love him, I miss him, and I want him...I don't need him...but I want him...I love him and honestly can't picture my life without him, but not like this...I want that dream life that WE used to talk about...and it doesn't take a lot to have...it just takes time and his wanting to work at it...but he doesn't so the only thing that I can conclude is that he doesn't love me.
well...there it is in a nutshell :)...I just don't know what to do anymore...I'm tired of crying myself to sleep every single night...
Depressed Recluse...
Do you do the things he doesn't do, do you tell him you love him, do you kiss him, do you initiate intimacy, do you start conversations with him? If so, what does he do or say when you do these things?
