Spooning is laying next to your SO with your front to her back or vice versa..basically where her back is to you and she's nestled into you..your knees match the back of her legs when they are bent..

It's very sweet

Got it's name from how spoons sit in a drawer when they're stacked up..they are nestled together.

Yeah, Kate, I know what you mean. It's rather intimate to cuddle up to and spoon with soemone. Not for the straight fucks, but more for the people you would make love with/to.

I have to have my space when i first get to bed and to fall asleep, but when i wake in the middle of the night for whatever reason then i usually like to spoon with the wife and cup a breast. But yeah, i'm with Steph, it has to be with someone you care about. It's such an intimate postition.
