Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
IMO, the best thing is for both people involved being proficient at openly communicating their needs and each partner wanting to, willing to and being enthusiastic about fulfilling each other's needs.
Learning what each other likes is partially the fun of getting to know each other and making the relationship work. If I'm not on the same page sexually as a partner and we can't find a happy medium, it would be a deal breaker.
I know for me, I don't enjoy any sex act done the exact same way every time so partner perfecting a certain technique isn't going to work for me no matter how great it is, eventually getting the same thing every time will get quite boring. What is the best of the best for me today might not be the best for me tomorrow. Partner is the same way, he likes variety, different techniques for a sex act at different times.
To us, being able to openly communicate our desires, being willing, wanting and enthusiastic in fulfilling each other's desires is where proficiency comes in.
I don't even masturbate the same way every time, I'm always doing something different.
