He had 'the poor me" syndrome, because instead of waiting until things were done, or helping to get things done, he stared at the computer and it all went south from there. At times it was as if I had an over sized 2 year old who didn't know how to not only make a decision, but also didn't know how to pick up after himself.
I made his life to easy and comfortable, yet he thought if he left for BIGGER pastures, his life would stay as comfortable. It didn't happen and I still pay that price.
Being in a monogamous relationship never would have killed my sex drive. You know the person, you are comfortable with the person. The parties in a monogamous relationship should learn the fine points of give and take in all aspects of the relationship in order to keep the relationship alive. it's not a one sided situation.
Maybe a pill should be invented that enables a spouse to wake up and see that the more they do, the more they might get.
A helping hand is worth it's weight in gold.
Rant over.
My personal belief is, it isn't the length of time you've been with a partner that causes loss of desire, it's if the sex life and relationship as a whole is allowed to get mundane.
kinda
maybe-a-little-bit
sounds like the pill is actually poison to get rid of the husband?
Anybody else up for trying Lybrido?
A woman can get sexually stimulated by love making activities. A person's sex dive is a person's sex drive, right?
Mine has noit changed except when I went through a period of depression which is now ended.
I have a high sex drive.
Women who are over-weight may not have as much of a estrogen depletion problem, during The Change, as fat converts into estrogen.

Sprout Pharmaceuticals has announced that it has resubmitted flibanserin, a drug intended for hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women to the FDA for approval.
Sprout Pharmaceuticals received additional requirements for the testing of the product back in 2013 and has since completed additional testing. In testing Flibanserin has shown statistical improvement in increasing a woman's sexual desire and an increase in the frequency of satisfying sex.
I was in two full time relationships and had children, housework, bills, all the usual stresses. Both lasted 13 years. In both of these I got bored with sex after a couple of years, the first guy was into things that I didn't enjoy and the second guy wanted sex every day, when the honeymoon period wore off, housework, kids, cooking etc took over and I turned off and went through the motions. I wanted them to want me for my personality not for sex, which is how it felt.
I've been with this man nearly 6 years. Tables turned. With a loud crash! HIs worsening ED issues mean he's now impotent. Perversely I'm more sexual than I ever was, I feel like I did in the first weeks of a new relationship - all the time! We don't live together, I have my own house, enough money, my own life, great friends, no kids at home any more, no periods and a good social life. I wouldn't give a flying f*** if he just wanted me for sex and not my stunning intellect ha ha.
Hormones play a big part I think, in women after the menopause cuddly oestrogen drops and leaves room for the sexy testosterone to take over. In older men the opposite happens which is why they start wanting to cuddle in bed watching the TV.
