Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
You are honest enough to admit that your own selfishness caused a lot
of the problems. Probably not too unusual for men in their 20's and
maybe 30's.
I'm sure you know that you must be giving and not selfish for a real
relationship to work. Use that knowledge and treat a woman the way
she deserves and you will likely find the relationship you are looking
for.
I like tongue! Ha!!!
Of course it is normal to want a healthy happy loving relationship, we all do.
Do you like older women? (wink).
:)
Or, watch a women masturbate and you can learn a lot.
You can sing me a song anytime. Xx
usually it's the former but you mentioned women possibly taking advantage of your size so I assume it's the latter.
I realized just now , because I always say size doesn't matter, maybe I am actually so used to stroking (pun intended) the male ego, that I have convinced myself of this.
I think , though whether small, average or large size, I think there is a partner who will be happy with you. Yes I think size matters but not as though it seems. LIke all your characteristics this is just one part of you. As far as rethinking how you feel about finding love or relationships, we all change as we age ..just please be upfront with any new partners. Don't act like you want committed relationship if you don't.
I am dating a guy ten years younger than I am and I must say , now I get the whole "cougar " thang...lol. I am not all that sure why he enjoys older women but at this point I don't even care. I just am glad.
He said from the beginning he is not the commitment type but , he does not date more than one woman at a time.
I respect that and I was not /am not wanting to get hitched again. Even with my late husband, and ex boyfriends, I enjoyed the part in the beginning when they were upfront with me . When the relationships become serious , all of a sudden I find the men become so afraid to share the truth with me and it is a shame because I am so open minded and very understanding, with most things, EXCEPT lying.
that is the one important thing to me that is not a line I want crossed.
Question is: What SUBJECTS, CONVERSATION TOPICS (you're gonna have to TALK with her), bring meaning into your life? Obviously you love music. Talk about guitarists that you feel have influenced/revolutionized music in the last 30 years.
Also, and I hate to say it, you may have to lower your physical standards in a lady if you're looking for a lady close to your own age. Most ladies in their 30s, 40s and/or 50s have had a couple kids, and, gravity takes over, their bodies have filled out a lot, put on a lot of weight.
I follow this rule of thumb: I look for a woman who has a body similar to mine. I'm about 6-foot tall and weigh about 207. I wear my weight well, thanks to my height, but have big bones and am thus a bit on the "stocky" side (have some fat in and around my gut). A woman maybe an inch or two shorter than me, with some "curves", I feel is about right. I can't expect to be with a stick-thin supermodel anymore, and even if I could attract such a woman, I'd feel weird about it, and aside from money, if I had money, I'd always be wondering "Why are you with me?".
Of course, you can't completely ignore your penis in favor of a meaningful relationship, because sex is PART OF that meaningful relationship, and only you know what physically turns you on.
If you mean selfish in the sense of only doing what made your dick hard and blew your rocks off, get in, get off, get out, I second what everyone else said and become skilled in the art of using your tongue. Make damn sure she cums at least twice from cunnilingus before even CONSIDERING "Oh, yeah--I have a dick, that needs to be satisfied too".
but looking back on it, now...none of those relationships were satisfying sexually speaking...other than it completed a feeling of closeness and intimacy.
in fact , ironically maybe at least 2 of my guitarist BF's had major ED.
Though they were in total bliss being with me.
Women often do care more about the other feelings, in a relationship
meaning not just sexual feelings.
With my husband one of the problems we had (though our sex life was great) was he only liked to talk to me about 'stuff', immediately after having sex.
While for me, simply talking to me in almost any conversation that was pleasant , was enough to make me want to have sex with him.
Because I am a talker by nature and he hated talking it got to that point it was almost foreplay for me if he wanted to know how my day was.
Relationships are so much better when it is for more than the sex.
Sounds cliche' but so true.
onetomany the answer is yes.
