Okay so when me an my boyfriend first started having sex there was no problem but as time went on things we were normally used to doing started to hurt, like when he pushes in all the way I feel a sharp pain. And it hurts in my stomach and when it happens we just stop... Last night it happend and it hurt so I pushed him off and got up and I was dripping blood... Does anyone have any idea why that would happen? He said to me it might be my iud and that I should have it removed but can my birth control really make me bleed?
The best birthcontrol would be starting out with the shot (if you have trouble remembering to take the pill everyday at the exact same time) which is 3 months long. Then you can go to the implant in your arm. So far, I haven't heard anything too bad about those, just that some people hate needles.

Painful sex and bleeding are symptoms that can be very serious. Sometimes it is a one time happening. Since the problem seems to get progressively worse, you have a serious issue going on that may require testing. Please do not delay. It could be the IUD or it could be a serious condition.

The Depo shot caused me to be with out my period for and entire year and a half! I only had 2 shots (to cover me for six months). It seriously set me back in my fertile years. I so longed to have a baby. I was really angry with the medical professionals who prescribed it, telling me that I would be able to get pregnant right away.
I was being treated for a condition with medicine that could cause birth defects, so I was required to take 2 forms of BC. They didn't take my word that I would be abstinent during that time due to my husband's deployment..
I used to have an IUD and it caused me a lot of troubles so I got it removed. You have other options for birth control....get off of this if it's hurting you! That means something isn't right.
