Okay so do I have a story for you guys. ( this is GODS GRACE)
I was spending the night with my boyfriend and his family yesterday before he went off to base for the marines. In the morning it was just me and his mother and him and he was about to leave when we started praying for him. We prayed for his safety and for the LORD to be with him and protect him. During that time I felt the Holy Spirit with us, I could feel GOD in the room and we asked the blood of Jesus to wash over him...
He left and was on his way to base in Seal Beach when he realized he had forgotten something and turned around to come back to the house and pick it up. His mother and I were busy making breakfast... He was getting on the freeway when he hit the curb to the on ramp, swerved then drove the car off of what I call a cliff. It was a 100 foot drop. His car went all the way down and stopped right before hitting a metal fence that was at the bottom.
He had to kick his way out of the car and when he caught his breathe he called us and we rushed over to go get him... The scene was so scary. The car didn't flip and we took him to the hospital. He only has a minor head injury, a chest contusion and a sprained finger... It was the grace of God that he didn't get hurt worse than that or worse killed.

I'm not a praying type of person and I'm not so sure how comfortable I would feel about everyone sitting in the kitchen praying out loud to the Holy Spirit, God and asking for the blood of Jesus to wash over a person.
I might have wanted to exit stage left on that one, but glad he is ok after his vehicle veered down the hill.
The power of prayer....well, it's amazing!!!
