Alright so my boyfriend and I decided to take my pitbull out for a walk with my grandma, we don't exactly live in the nicest area I'll be the first to admit we live in a ghetto. For protection we carry pepper spray, a pocket knife, a tazer and my grandma takes a cane. Not that many people would mess with is with our pit (even though the worst he'd do is lick you to death)
Anyways we just walked out the door and we see a group of highschool kids on the end of the street and my boyfriend jokingly says "Ohhhh a fight..." And as we got close it was indeed a fight... There were I'd say a group of 8-10 highschoolers yelling at 3 kids none of which were older than 12... Two of the kids were on scooters and looked very scared. The highschoolers were yelling at these kids "imma fuck you up, come over here little bitch" blah blah blah. At this time there was already an adult male there trying to defuse the situation. At first we kept walking but it was seriously bothering me. As we walked by one of the highschoolers crossed the street and pushed the little girl off her scooter. Faster than I could tell the girl to knock it off my boyfriend was infront of the girl protecting her. "If you wan to hit someone hit me." He said to the girl who pushed the girl off her scooter. The girl was around 17 years old if say, she looked at him and took a step closer to him and said "who the fuck do you think you are get the fuck out of here" he stood infront of the little girl who was on the ground and wouldn't let the other kids near her and said "I'm a fucking marine that's who the fuck I am. What are you doing trying to beat up a middle school kid " the girl looked at him and cussed a bit before backing up and said " I'm getting my family and we will be back" she and the rest of the highschoolers left and we walked the little girl and her friends home....
I just can't believe how kids act. Honestly at times I wish I was under 18 so I could fight them but my boyfriend did a pretty good job of defusing the situation without fighting. But really... Where is the respect.....

When I was 15 a pizza man got mugged and beaten right across the street from my house. Cops were called, never showed.
It's almost pointless to even bother calling them. I watched a women bleed to death infront of me. In my aunts arms while she tried to stop the bleeding. The ambulance finally came after 40 minutes but nobody has time to wait for that.
This is something that little girl and her friends will remember the rest of their lives!. There is no telling what kind of revelation they may have even had.

Hope those teens sign up before they find themselves on a bodyboard!! It may be the only chance they get.
