I use myspace as my network for old friends that I went to school with/worked with at one point.

Also, I used to love that myspace gave me a creative outlet. I could design my profile page, etc.

DS is where I am open and honest about my feelings. I can participate in random threads and have been able to establish a strong foundation of friendship with my slut face here, too.

I use myspace as a network for friends who have moved or ones that we kind of lose touch because of our busy lives. Also, I have lots of family on there and we can keep in touch (grandpa loves to see his grandkids pics.. and insists on them being updated)

You can keep track of your favorite bands.

Your profile can be completely private if you want... so only thing seen is your profile pick and "slogan"

There is not really a discussion group like here.

Your profile page is HUGE and you can do so much with it.. load videos, pics, etc...

It is more like a glorified email and profile book for fam and friends to me.

I also use myspace to keep in touch and decorate. Ive made one for my mother and the grandkids that are own thier own send pics and stuff.
This place is my private place where I can be real and myself without worrying the kids or family. I like them both for different reasons.
