It doesn't seem to have affected my mothers, but she is dragging out her third divorce still while living with her bf in a different state. (she's been separated for six or seven years now).. lol.. who knows? I see a lot of older women always looking for some at the bar too.

I like the expression "the older the fiddle, the better the tune" and it is peculiar that it is called the menopause....whose idea was that ?

I've been put into menopause by my hysterectomy. I am on hormones though, so I am not getting the symptoms from menopause. I know alot of women who have had hysterectomies, even with hormones, thier sex drive takes a nose dive. Mine however, has been increased due to my hormones. I think it just depends on how your body reacts to them. Plus, I lived for 10 years with only 1 ovary, so I think I am actually getting more hormones than I am used to.

My sex drive is better now then it was when I was younger. I'm voting for better sex drive, not dead sex drive.

Older men look for younger women to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Not always true, hon. My last GF was a year older than I, and I felt pretty damn good about myself (and her). Too bad she did not feel the same.

Kool....just because you haven't done that doesn't mean that OLDER men don't feel that way. Trust me...I've been arm candy to older guys and that's all they needed me for...to look good in front of their old friends.

ok I called my mom on this one. She said it did while she was going through it but once it was over it is back and stronger than ever. I sooooo did not need to know that. I think I need more therapy now. lol
