Partner is Wiccan and is big into astrology, me not at all. He's studied astrology for years, I couldn't tell you how many books he has on it.. He does birth charts for people, knows all that stuff about sun signs, moon signs, positions of planets, etc., which I get totally lost in when I ask him something about it and he starts explaining. 10 minutes is enough of that, I get bored with it very quickly, just not my thing.

No, he doesn't read the daily horoscope in the local paper.

I used to read cards, not tarot, regular deck cards..mostly for fun.. When I play card games - like poker, rummy, etc., it's kind of hard when I see certain cards together..I used to blurt things out to people, oh are you having health problems, or you are going to have ultimate luck in a short time..but then they wanted me to read their cards, so I stopped..

Do I believe in astrology, yes. A long time ago I read books on sun signs, moon signs, did charts, etc but its so far in my past I don't remember all that stuff. It seems as though it was another life.

i read my horoscope on occasion for fun. n really id do a whole lot more with it. But i have found that ppl that r the same sign as me tend 2 b like me in some ways.

That bein said, im sure that there r ppl out there that rnt my sign n r like me 2 some degree also, jmo.

Yes I do think our astrological signs play a part in how we are as people. I am a difficult sign- I am a fire sign. luckily my hubby is able to put up with me! :)

i believe in astrology and studied it a little bit - there is some truth to it for sure! i even see certain physical similarities in sun signs.

A few years ago that talked about the first 6 months of life being crucial for development, and that the weather patterns really impacted that. That study indicated that that was the origin of astrology.

Just cant buy into it. People are far too complex to be put into 12 buckets. If it were true , all Aries would be horrible people..the sign of
Adolph Hitler. If you read about Aries they're supposed to " have a broad mind and full and open heart ". Doesnt exactly fit does it ?

I'm an Aries...broad minded, openhearted, but don't mess with me or I will spit nails at you faster then any nail gun ever could... I'm hot headed too.. But, is that because I'm a fire sign or Italian? Or maybe it depends on the way the wind is blowing that day... Who knows...

I do tend to befriend people who's signs are compatible with Aries, so maybe it's not all hocus pocus.

As far as whether my personality fits my sign - so many of my true traits have been stomped on by so many of the people in my life that I'm not even sure what those true traits are any more.
For example, I think my true nature is to be optimistic, but I'm not anymore after dealing with so many corrupt people and systems.

To me, astrology is less a predictive tool than an aid for personal growth. Drawing up a full natal chart can show you your strengths, weaknesses, and areas in your life that you might need to work on. The science behind it is... non-scientific, at best, but still, I've drawn up natal charts for myself and other people in my life, and they're kinda spooky...
