Bonnie, if this jackwad piss poor excuse of a man is going to be there when you leave, it might be wise to have someone with you. Or maybe even notify authorities your intentions of leaving and the possibility of problems.
Do not set your phone down while you move, and be prepared to dial 911.
The potential for escalating violence will be at a premium if he is witness to your leaving.

Also, prepare for him to make a plea for you to stay, he may beg, bargain and many other despicable things to convince you he can change. DO NOT FALL FOR IT, even if he cries, do not be fooled.

Please let this board know just as soon as you are safely away, then keep your guard up.
