All of us are worth more than that...
People are just soooo selfish anymore....I could bore you with many similar experiences...but yes, they do all hurt...and sometimes it hurts bad...
Use that situation to guage his value of you....he wanted the cookie without paying the price.
A real gentleman would adore you and respect you. Sounds like there is a lack of value for you on his behalf...These things can be solved by getting a different boyfriend....sometimes ya dont realize what you have until it is gone....
Abusers build you up to regain your trust again so they can knock you down and each time they knock you down, you'll go farther down. That's what abusers do, they're manipulators. Bonnie, the abuse will continue to escalate, it won't get any better. You can love him with every ounce of your being but it won't change him.
No one deserves being mistreated, disrespected and abused. You deserve a partner that loves you, respects you and treats you well.
Well said Leather...I cant tell you how many ladies I have told this to lately...and the terrible thing is....they just go back to the same situation...it breaks my heart for them but what do ya do...but I do understand how difficult it is to break that cycle....I am not diminishing that.
Gosh if it is that bad fullmetal...ya gotta jump ship even if it is to save yourself hon.
I think that that "date" was shameful. First off, cell phones and technological interferences should've been stuffed up in the glove box. Next, if money is tight for this guy (which is ok, people struggle sometimes), then he could've gotten a little creative and gone to the park with you and made a picnic. Or, made something at home and THEN go for a drive. But bringing out the coupon...ehhh...not a big fan of that. That's just me though, not judging people using coupons when they need to.
How well did you know him meaning being together in-person a lot to really get to know him well on an in-person level before the two of you moved in together?
Very few people have little or no choice in how they are treated or how they treat another.
He chose to take you, you chose to go
He chose to use a coupon(times are tough)
He chose to ask you to tip
He chose to not dress for a date and to be involved on FB while on a date.
All those things are aggravating along with belittling imo. the one that pisses me
"He wanted sex and told me I did too"
Thats bull shitzle.. He didn't deserve it in any manner.
