I started to write this last night but my computer lost an hours worth of writting a post so I gave up...well here goes again...I am separated now for 9 months even though everything started last November 2011. My wife of 15 years which by the way we were inseparable....24/7/365, had a gastric By-pass operation and lost over 100lbs. She began to change radically...to make a long story short she started chatting with this guy all the time right in front of me! Then she went to meet him and before we all knew it she was sleeping with him from Thursday to Sunday morning and from Tuesday afternoon till Thursday morning. Needless to say we all suffered greatly as this was totally out of her character...she has 3 children from a previous marriage and we have a 9 and a half year old son toghether. Everyone is in shock...she stopped working our business last year in November and by February we had to close it completely, and move because of lack of money. Her oldest son she sent to her x-husband, her daughter who was engaged and living with her finance in our house got an apartment together and since have married, our son went with her and I moved into a closet! It was literally 1 room and coming from a 4 bedroom, 2 floor house, quite a shock for me.
On May 13th, 2012 she came to me and asked me if I would move back in with her strickly for financial reasons...she had no rent, food, utilities, etc. and had broken up with him. Because of my son's wellbeing I agreed for a short period of time until she got back on her feet. I paid May's rent and arranged for food enough for the 3 of us as well as picking up most of the expenses on a day to day basis.
On July 3rd...after the months of verbal abuse again, she put her fist through my laptop computer smashing it beyond repair...my reaction was one of discust but not verbally or physically violent at all. I went to lay down and take a nap when I over heard her talking to her mother that she has to get me out of her apartment....and then fell asleep. About an hour later their was a knock at the bedroom door...which woke me up and when I asked who was there the reply was the police. I spent from roughly 10pm until 6am at the police station where I was arrested and went to court at 6:30am that next morning. The female judge said se couldn't believe what she was seeing and ordered me to stay away from her and her apartment for the next 3 days. Mostly for my own protection...the problem being I had just paid July's rent and had almost no money to move!
Thank G-d for my 19 year old son who had come up to the court that morning to be with me...he helped me get some essentials out of her apartment and them drove me to a small settlement of 300 families where he knew many of the people who where like family to him and they helped me within 4 hours to move into a beautiful 1 bedroom home for less money than I was paying for the 1 room apartment I had been staying at before all this fiasco happened. I have been here 3 months now and have made many good friends and wish I had found this place when I first arrived in Israel, 20 years ago.
I have since been able to start 4 businesses which each have great potential and with the help of the friends I have made here I now have a fully furnished 1 bedroom house with a giant porch and just about every organic fruit tree you could imagine all arround me in this garden of eden.
I am very lonely though...I do not miss my x-wife and am completely over her but I miss feminine companionship. It's been so long since I have been with a woman that I am a bit concerned about what to look for and the awkwardness of dating again. Any and all help you could give me in this area would be greatly appreciated...and I am happy to be a new member of this group.

SHE put HER fist through YOUR laptop, and yet YOU got arrested, despite the fact that you were completely non-violent toward her? That's a new one. Might want to lawyer up on that one, for your own future protection, against any further repercussions.
I would make sure that you are emotionally, financially, spiritually, and legally finished with her before progressing. Once you are, then a dating service or site might be helpful and fun.
