Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
I started here on DS about a year ago due to my separation and now divorce - I was depressed, hurt, angry, and felt really alone and isolated. It took some time but towards the end of last year with support from friends on here I felt I really turned a corner and have been doing much much better since. I still feel alone and out of it at times too, but overall I'm doing so much better and having fun here in HS. I'm also having more fun out in life too which is a great feeling. Eventually I hope I'll find someone new to share it with as well, but for now I'm enjoying getting myself back, and raising my 2 sons.
Congrats on how far you've come!
There are only two battles that I have almost everyday that can't be rectified, because they are warts on my butt that won't go away no matter what I do. I've given them names, though I can't repeat them here.
All other aspects of my life are coming together in a matter that would be expected.
Glad things are getting better for you.
I started out on that other forum in the Pet's section as a CL on animal rescue, pit bull rescue and the wildlife rescue/rehab boards. I found the depression board and suicidal feelings board over there when our youngest son was in bad emotional shape and suicidal. When I was dealing well with the problems we were having with him, I eventually joined the sex boards over there and was on them for about 10 years before joining HS here. Yes, when I joined the sex boards on the other forum, I felt like I graduated in a sense.
i have my up days and i have my down days. i found this group because of satcom.
nolaguy - I'm glad your battle has gotten easier!!!
After weeping with the folks in there for a month or so, I figured...got to rejoin the living sometime, so I came here and found it a lot of laughs.
Welcome, nolaguy!
