Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.

We love each other very much, we want the other to be happy not only happy with each other and in the relationship but have our own happiness within ourselves that has nothing to do with having a partner. We are completely honest with each other, can talk openly about anything and everything, we have a lot in common but we have enough differences that I believe is needed in a relationship (I don't want to be with a clone of me, he doesn't want to be with a clone of him), we're involved in each other's lives very much so but also have our own activities, friends, independence.
I don't believe a partner/relationship should *be* your happiness or be your life, it should add to your life and your happiness.
Agreeing with the ladies, concerning smothering. I think we need to maintain our individuality while meshing our strengths and beliefs to overcome inadequacies. Easy to complete a couple when both are new, invigorated and wanting of each other. I hope for the love that is still there, when indifference would be easier. Again jmo.
I think it would be awesome to have a relationship like that!
If both people are happy like that whats the problem?
Through a bit of therapy and lots of soul searchig I hope I am over that phase in my life.
