If she likes wine, maybe a bottle of wine, something like that. I really don't know what to suggest. When I met my partner in-person the first time, we met at the shore for a week and I didn't expect any kind of gift.

or a book or cd that she has been talking about that she hasnt hopefully gotten yet - something small and more personal for her. remembering what she said she likes is a plus!

either that or a framed sexy picture of yourself for her to keep when you are gone, or a big red bow around your waist....

Good thing u said u were kidding luv cuz I would have bought her diamonds. Ill be flying so breakables such as wine bottles are out. Maybe champagne when I get there. Alas most of our conversations have been of an intimate nature so not sure about her tastes in music or books. Maybe I can fish if I manage to derail her one track mind :).

Wine is a good suggestion if she drinks that. Also listen to what she says she likes and maybe pick up something small she likes. Also for me personally I like flowers. Not roses so much as a nice bouquet mixed flowers. Good luck!

What if she has a problem with alcohol?

Just stop at a florist and buy the girl some flowers, they make a great first gift where you know little about her. I am sure she will be gracious and give you a thankyou and a smile in return. I would bet a weeks paycheck on that!

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
