Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
I have lived with "planned sex" for my entire marriage, and I have to be real honest, it isn't that great! Not that the sex is bad, just the planning part. Sometimes it is necessary, and I can understand that, but there really should be some spontaneous sex thrown in as well. Having 3 kids running through the house tends to ruin most spontaneous events, but it would be nice to have it now and then. I can't even be spontaneous any more, even when we are alone. She has to have it all planned out, and even then it changes somewhat. That is very frustrating to me, and I'm willing to bet that she is feeling the same way. It could be that by planning things, she gets the feeling that you are "expecting it" and she has to "perform". That could be what bothers her so much. It sounds like she wants to be "in control" of things sometimes, and I think you should let her.
(Ladies, am I wrong about this?)
Give her some space, and let her call the shots some. I'm willing to bet that she will liven up if you do.
I think your GF has major issues, and probably needs counseling. Do you know if she was ever sexually abused? I know that causes alot of women to develop weird problems, or have some time of sex hangup.
