I just had an email regarding that. Sad, sad world that we live in.

My girls' school had a lockdown about a month ago because of two criminals outside their school that had weapons. They had just robbed a bank

I agree with Longhaul - why the hell are people taking innocent lives? This may sound cold, but if someone is that f**ked up and wants to kill themselves, why not just do it and not take innocent people with them?

They just updated on the radio and it was all over a stupid fight among students.

You are right LH it is stupid. If people are that mad at the world then they take themselves out of it and leave everybody else alone.

I still havn't heard if anybody is hurt. I hope that no news is good news.

I am grateful I don't have class on Wednesdays because I would have to tranqulized if something like happened while I was there.

Having a daughter in High School doesn't help the worries wither. My extremely naive mother always says "Nothing like that will ever happen around here, it's too nice an area."
I just hope she never winds up eating those same words.
