I could be several things..But yes douching is not a good thing..It really should be done but not necessarily after the monthly cycle is over..That could be the number one attribute to this problem..
The others that follow may be she has an allergic reaction to your sperm.. It's rare but does happen..On a worse note it could even be an unknown std that may have gone unoticed over the years..It is a possibility that she experiances a bacterial or even Clamydia...They can last in the body and go away with the douching masks the real issue of an std..
It could be a reaction to douching and lubricant...It could be the lube you are using..I know I can't use any lube with peperment in it or causes the same reaction..
but in my opinion she should go see her gyno and get everything checked out.
I would buy a box of encare if I were you and start using that as a lube and a method of BC. You can slip it in and she wouldn't even know..Better safe than possibly sorry...I went to that method of BC because it's safe , non hormonal, acts as a lube, and no more douching!!
She had a total hysterectomy (sp?) about 20 years ago after she had her only child, she had fairly serious femal problems up to that point in her life that she has breifly talked about with me. So she does no birth control.
The sperm allergy is possible, I assume her husband of 17 years did the same as me, just not near as often to hear her tell it, and I guess it is feasable that not all sperm is the same, and I could have a make up that affects her worse?? I may have to google that up and see if I find any results.
Not sure why she douches everytime, what she has said to me is that she wants to be clean and fresh for me, but I never really asked her why she does every time. It did seem strange to me just because the long term relationships I have had in the past with women I had never seen anyone do that, it may be something her mother told her, a friend, IDK, but she said she did all through her marriage, but again, not near as often.
She and I discussed it last week, I hate to see her hurt from it, and I told her I could wear a condom or pull out to eleminate the sperm and the need for the douche to see if the problem went away. Thanks for all the input folks, I really appreciate it.
I suggest that advise even to my sons,I have told them to never rely on just her BC method because a woman will have a child when she wants and you may not be ready for the such. I told my son to always slip in an encare, when your ready to have a child then by all means let it happen..Now that's honesty..It would be far better than ooops the bc pill didn't work, forgot to take it, or some other lame excuse..This way he has just as much control over he matter to have or not have a child..After all it is going to be him that pays 1/2 his check for 18 yrs!!
If some guy slipped some kind of chemical into my body without me knowing it and I found out, he'd be out of my bed faster than he'd know what hit him.
You stated in your other post that it's safe but it's only safe if you don't have an allergy to it. If there's an allergic reaction, it's not safe and can cause all kinds of problems, burning, itching, vaginal ulcerations, yeast infections, urinary infection. I've been there, done that, it's not pleasant. Your sons don't know if a woman is allergic or not.
No one has a right to put a chemical into someone else's body without their permission!
