now, on a side note, i freaking LOVE acne, especially bacne on other people! like...seriously. the last boyfriend i had before my husband would get acne spots. i seriously think our relationship only lasted as long as it did BECAUSE of the acne. he would pick me up, we could go to his apartment, he would watch tv while i curled up behind him and went to town popping his zits and black heads. LOVED IT. i have always been that way. one of my complaints about my husband is that his skin is TOO good. he rarely ever has a zit, let alone lets me pop one!
In the summer, some decent sun exposure can really help clear things up.
Side note, did you know that the rates of skin cancer have tripled since the invention of sun block and that regular dosages of vitamin D reduce cancer in test groups by 60%. Regular sun is important for health.
But to your question. It would really depend on how bad the acne was. A few pimples isn't going to bother anybody. My ex wife broke out in staph infections for a while there were pretty horrible to look at. I would drain them for her and clean them up... so if I could cope with that and still find her attractive... I doubt you would have anything to worry about.
Oh, and des, that is actually pretty common in women. One of my ex's from many years ago called it "grooming" and compared it to what the great apes do in groups. Women also like to peel sunburns, or at least most of the women I have know like to.
It is pretty common, especially in women, and often associated with your menstrual cycle (different contraceptive pills can help, even if you're not taking them from a contraceptive standpoint).
